There is a reason why .LABEL loves sac. It is because the people of the capitol city know how to get down! The Official .LABEL release party jumped off on Friday @ Sacramento’s LevelUp. The night featured a mix of artistic mediums from the slaptastic .LABEL music samplers, the dopeness of Pete Bettencourt’s live art works, & the creative concoctions of 2Hermano & company’s multi-media imagery….there were also drinks flowing, but to the dismay of Ca$h Dreed, we can’t count drinking as an artistic outlet. The night featured DJ Riff Raff, Dj Chappeeze & Rai-mon trading off sets, providing a mix of head nodders [feat. some upcoming .LABEL releases] Shout out to Ca$h Dreed, look out for their record in October! Also, Sacramento Hip-Hop was in the house well represented, The C.U.F., Cash Dreed, Addict Merchants, among the party goers. The night was a blast, but if for some reason your life was hanging on by a string and you could not make the session, it is still not to late for you tom foolery’s to get the .LABEL sampler mixed by our very own DJ Riff Raff.

Event Recap: Cash Dreed 7/11/10
Rain or Shine, we do what we do. In this case it was a hi-powered UV shine with an added 200% humidity. But that just means the crowd might as well get down to the get down and not have to worry about lookin cool anymore, cause we’re all sweatin heavy. Cash Dreed put it on with the latest edition to the Cash Dreed team, the MPC100 and Hero Productions documenting every move. Monsrock played quarterback from behind the decks conducting the beats while El Rob took center stage with his sidekick EdotC. Cash Dreed took a minute to pay homage to Gangstarr’s own GURU then back to the lecture at hand. We even got a special guest appearance from Jake Uno all the way from Vietnam, CA. Woodland was definitely in the place. Big Ups t to MCLB and Dose, Mahtie Bush, Lefty Rose for doin their thing and a shot out to DJ cripple for holdin us down.
A Shower never felt so good. Ready for round 2.
Look out for the Hero Productions footage.
